About Us

Born in a family of musicians, Sangeetha Vidwan Smt.Krishnaveni Chandrasekaran is an All India Radio (AIR) graded artiste. She has completed SANGEETHA VIDWAN -- Diploma with distinction in vocal music from Central College of Music, Madras with vocal as main & veena as elective. She has also completed ,Advanced Diploma with distinction in vocal music from Vijayanagaram Music College , Vijayanagaram, Andhra University.

Smt.Krishnaveni is B.A graduate with Post Graduate Diplomas in Marketing & Human Resource Management. She started her training in music at a young age under the guidance of maternal uncles & music maestros Late V.L.Vedagiri & Late V.L Janaki Ram – both distinguished A-Grade Artistes of All India Radio.

I have had the pleasure of learning carnatic music from Smt. Krishnaveni Kumaraswamy during the last few years. The class sessions are very good and as a teacher she takes good time to explain the nuances whenever she needs to rectify mistakes. My journey into the world of Carnatic music started with my grandfather steering my boat of dreams onto the vast ocean of music, for which I'm very grateful... Since then, I have been learning this art form which is truly divine .. Under the sweet and insightful guidance of my guru, Smt .Krishaveni, (pedhamma) ... my love for music has just gotten better. And this is very true in my case because, the classes are just as homely and interactive as it can be and it is truly humbling at the same time. The classes is a one to one interactive session, which is something I look forward to every single time. It helps me elevate myself to a composed self. Music is a form of divinity , that creates a surreal world of its own, where the expressions and emotions are true of heart... and such encouragement is provided by pedhamma in each session.
